Every 10 years, the American Institute of Architects updates its major families of construction contracts. In late 2019 and early 2020, the AIA released revisions to its suite of construction management documents, last updated in 2009. Learn about the 2019 changes, discover other AIA documents that you’re probably not using (or don’t even know exist) but should, hear about modifications to standard AIA documents proposed by the AIA, and explore non-AIA documents you should consider when it’s the right fit for your project.

Peter Hahn (Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff LLP) represents commercial contractors and project owners in all facets of a construction project, from procurement through dispute resolution after project completion. Peter is a co-editor of The AIA Construction Management Contracts: A Concise Analysis of the 2019 Revisions published by the American Bar Association.
