This course is designed to bridge the gap between an injury and/or illness until advanced medical personnel takeover.

Learn to recognize and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses, including:

> CPR
> The use of an AED
> How to properly apply a tourniquet

CERTIFICATION/CREDITS:

> An American Safety & Health Institute certification card, valid for two (2) years.
> This course is approved for 4.5 hours OCILB credit in Health and Safety.

The Builders Exchange has implemented measures in consultation with public health authorities to ensure our protocols help you feel safe while attending onsite events. An air purification (ionization) system has been installed on HVAC units at the BX to cleanse air circulating through the building. Transfer Policy: Registration may be transferred to a future class of the same course (within the same fiscal year) for a fee of $20 per student/per transfer. Substitutions may be made without penalty; no-shows will be charged.

Cancellation Policy: To receive a refund, a cancellation request must be received one week prior to the beginning date of the program.

Consent to use photographic images: Registration and attendance at or participation in BX meetings and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the BX's use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee's image in photographs, videotapes, and electronic reproduction of such events and activities.
