Today marks the start of #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth. Studies have shown that construction industry workers are at an increased risk for suffering from mental health issues. At Pepper, safety starts on the inside. We support our employees’ mental health all year long. Whether it's taking a break, reaching out to a colleague for support or seeking professional help, there are many ways we can prioritize our mental health. Help us #BreaktheStigma and promote #SafetyfromtheInside all year long!

Happy Earth Day! This year’s global theme for Earth Day is Planet vs. Plastics. In our everyday lives, we are surrounded by some version of plastic. And while plastic does have its benefits to us, it’s production and waste is harmful to the planet and our health. That is why this year’s theme, Planet vs. Plastics, calls to advocate for widespread awareness on the health risk of plastics, promote the phase-out of single use plastics and urgently push for a strong UN Treaty on Plastic Pollution. Planet vs. Plastics calls to mind the urgency in safeguarding the health of our planet from materials that permeate and persist. The rise of Per- and Polyflouroalkyl Substances (PFAS) in national and global media is rousing emphasis on creating a built environment that is not only net-zero, but free of hazardous products. Learn more about PFAS and how Pepper’s high performance and sustainability program is turning a spotlight on next-level impact, healthy materials here: https://ow.ly/UgPX50RlftG
